This walk is a distance of 11km and will take approximately three hours.

Turn left from the Crown PH car park along High Street to the row of shops set back on the left, just before Meadow Road.

Cross High Street to the footpath and continue through a kissing gate. The footpath passes to the left of the fence, crosses over Pebble Brook and continues over a further stile and three fields to Woodhouse Lane.

Turn right then bear left at the fork to the A464 Shifnal road. Go left along the main road for approximately 200m.

Cross the road at a sign on the right for Pepperhill Farm onto a farm track. Go up this track to a break in the hedge on the left. Cross the field diagonally up hill to the left corner, heading for the large trees. Pass through the gate keeping the hedge to the left and cross two fields to the house. The footpath passes to the rear of the house. Keeping the wall on the right go along a grass path to the road at Patshull Estate signs. Continue south on the road for 500m.

At the bridleway sign on the left cross and follow the track to a crossing of paths. There is a waymark on a tree on the left.

Take this track to the left where there are good views towards Wolverhampton. Pass through Wrottesley Farm with the house on the left, farm buildings on the right and continue along the track until you reach the A464 at 7.

Cross the road, turn right and go to the first turning left to Kingswood Common (ideal picnic site). Cross A41to the footpath sign opposite and continue along a tarmac drive.

Cross the stile and continue through the next gate. Follow the track with the farm on the right to the stile. Cross the field with the hedge on the left to the farm track. Follow waymarks to the farm, turn left to the farm drive and County Lane. Turn right at the lane and continue 50m to a stile on the left.

Cross the field with the hedge on the right and take the stile into High House Lane. Continue ahead under the A41 keeping right to Kingswood Road.

Turn right and walk back along Kingswood Road until it becomes High Street at the Old Smithy and return to Albrighton
