This walk is a distance of 13km and will take approximately three and a half hours.

Turn right from the Crown PH down Station Road, under the railway bridge and across the A41 main road to the lane opposite. Continue to the T-junction and turn left.

Pass Humphreston Hall on your left and continue to the stile and fingerpost on your right.

The path crosses the field in the direction of the fingerpost to a footbridge and stile. The path continues across the field and meets the lane at a stile to the left of the house. Turn right to the stile opposite and follow the hedge boundary to join Sydnal Lane.

Turn left, then immediately right into Mill Lane. Continue to the end of the lane to the gate and stile on the right, Shackerley Mill house on your left. The path follows the fence to a waymark sign with the pond on the left. Cross the field to the gate and track under the M54.

Follow the waymarked track to the left. (To shorten the walk turn right to Tong Park Farm and follow blue Monarch’s Way signs to the ruins of Hubbal Grange — see map). Turn left through the green gate along the farm drive to the road. Turn right into Tong village.

Leave the village by the first road to the right. The road becomes a track which is followed for 2.5km to Meashill Farm.

Follow the waymarks across the yard and through the gate. Go round the stable yard to the right to the gate through to the orchard. There are extensive views of the Clee Hills from here. Go downhill through the gate.

The path takes you past Whiteladies’ Priory on your right to join the lane. Turn right and walk along the lane for 1.5km passing farm on the right, cottage on the left to signposted track next to the house on the bend.

Follow the track to the end by the motorway bridge and turn right crossing over the motorway. Carry on to the first left turn at 10.

Continue on this lane, turning left as you again pass Humphreston Hall to the A41. Cross this road and pass under the railway bridge into Station Road and continue to the Crown PH.
